Recently, I listened to an interesting guest talk in my class. It holds by Marcus Suen. He has worked for lots of companies like 100most, Captv, Openrice, and now he is working in Edgiest. Alright, If you are keen on following Hong Kong Social Media Pages like me, you must feel impressive about this person. How come a guy could work for such different style, different tone, and different manner companies? That’s exactly what I was thinking about when I was in my lesson. That’s the reason why I could stay focus for a whole talk as he made me feel curious about his job!

I guess some of you already heard about what is a content creator but do you know what the detail job duties are? Just write some Facebook post captions? Or create some video content? That’s it? The answers are more than you think.
What Marcus told us is, you are not only a journalist. You are also a marketer, a pr, a video editor, a designer, a writer, a FB/IG/YouTube Admin, even an Influence.
In short, you have to be a all-round content creator.

It is quite inspired to me when I listened to his talk. He talked a lot on how to looking for the right target audiences and niche marketing, how to avoid some potential crisis, also how the importance of the creativity and the resonance between us and audiences. He also taught us how to utilize the social media platform and social listening tools to understand the audiences. He gave us rich information of his sharing.
However, all these are not the most impressive part for me. The most remarkable part for me is the last slide of his PowerPoint.

I always said that you should do what you want to do in your life. You only live once, and this is your freedom to choose how to live. What about being a content creator to read more about the world? Be sensitive to observe all the happened around us. Create your idea to share your life with others. For me, it is my pleasure to create my work to share with you all. I love creation.
